Boston Legal

Now, I've watched loads of tv serials in my life, but never have I come across a brilliant, witty, original, and outstanding performance by the characters of Boston Legal.

Yesyes, many of you might say..."aiya, why wanna watch stooopid legal stuff when can watch CSI and bionic woman. You know ar the bionic woman damn chunted le"...

But, for those who atleast do know something about law, i strongly recommend you guys catch this. Not only it has an original plot, but everything just makes sense in cases and situation, practically the life in Boston Legal.

The cast of Boston Legal consists of many superb actors...amongst them are James Spader, William Shatner, and Candice Bergmen.

However, the plot in this serial really take an interesting turn because the law firm in this serial (Crane, Poole & Schmidt) revolves around the two hilarious actors, James Spader (Alan Shore in this serial) and William Shatner (Denny Crane in this serial).

These two are just amazing at what they do. That's James Spader(Alan Shore) on the left and William Shatner(Denny Crane) on the right. They just don't act, they live the characters the plot out!!...which is why it's so original and perfect.

I say they make the best on-screen couple any tv series has ever had.

Their superb understanding, co-operation and reliance on one another brings the best out of these two, making the series really really interesting, funny (their brilliant one-liners can literally kill you), and addictive I must add!!

Well, Boston Legal's basically about a law firm who deals with cases, situations, different characters of people, every single day!!..

Yes, these two even fight on women!!..that's why it's so hilarious on how these two old faggots try picking up younger ladies...

But most of the time, Alan Shore(James Spader) would be the one who actually gets the ladies to bed him!!..its really funny how he can really be so direct to women, that they actually fall for him!!

Many characters come and go. This series really has a huge cast. Particularly because of employing women to the firm, just for Alan and Denny to hook on...

Like I said, Alan Shore always gets em!!

Yup, that's the beautiful Kerry Washington making an appearance for the series.

Now not only of Alan's behaviour, but Denny's character is similarly amazing. He's like some kind of mad lawyer, goes round shooting people, discriminating them, being really politically diverse, just makes the whole plot of Boston Legal even more interesting.

See what I mean, he has his own style and way when it comes to presenting cases in court.

And these two are always fighting with each other (note they always make up and are best friends), mostly about republicans and democrats (America's politics people)...

They're always up to some thing cheeky which always lands them in trouble!!...

Deep deeeeeeepppp trouble!!!

Serving some time's just an ordinary thing for em...

But that's when they actually sit down, and realise how brilliant lawyers they are, and then get up, and fight for a case...

And they can just think of stuff not even the opposing counsel can think of..that's why their just so brilliant!!

Clients love these two representing them because they are deemed to be the best lawyers available in Boston.

And the closing statements in particular, even the arguments made in cases which arise are simply authentic and absurd most of the time...but somehow it makes sense!!

At the end of the day, these two (who normally win a case, and yes it seems Denny Crane is still undefeated) reflect on their day at work over a drink.

So I guess that's about it la about this Boston Legal series.

I must say it has been brilliant watching this series, helped me loads in my law studies, particularly tort and criminal.

Have asked my dad and my lecturers lots of questions regarding situations and legal principles which have been mentioned and arise in this series.

That's why Boston Legal has won soooo many awards...

Thanks to these two 'flamingos' (a term only you would understand if you watch the show)..

heheheheh...do catch it on tv...you can learn a lot from this series and would make you a better lawyer I guess as it makes you think rationally and hypothetically (out of the box) most of the times!!

cheers mates

Comedy Court

Now have any of you actually been to any of these guys' shows...if you haven't, well you're disgusting...

How can you not attend any of their shows...I mean they're absolutely brilliant!!....

Hmm..anyways..these two indian fellows here..Allan Perrera and Indi Nadarajah..for me they are the best comedians Malaysia will ever have...

These two..basically have been performing skits on our daily Malaysian life...politics...women...the nature of malay people (mostly datuks)...chinese people (vcd sellers and rich tycoons)...and indian people (mostly lawyers)...

They started this venture together back in 1996 and they've proven to be a brilliant pair...who come up with just brilliant jokes...

and some of you who know...I don't laugh easily at jokes unless they're mine or an indian makes em up..but this two....are just BRILLIANT!!!...(Now how many times have i said the word "brilliant"??)..

Indi Nadarajah and Allan Perrera

But it's true alright..these two so far have been the only two (besides Russell Peters) to make me laugh like a jackass...yes they made me cry for hours when I went for their shows...and by crying I mean literally tears rolling down crying!!...

Here are some of their alter-egos which are deemed to be the best made up fiction characters i've ever seen in my life!!

Loga and Singham (two lawyers)

Mat and Din (the two Datuks)

Myrtle and Thavi (two typical indian women)

KC and TC (here seen as a vcd seller and a rich tycoon)

If any of you who want to have a preview of em..check out www.comedycourt.com.my...

they have their petty little songs (videos) about our government and pics of them performing here and there posted on the website...its simply brilliant!!..

one of their many (in)famous acts consist of "Quid Pro Quo"..."Res Ipsa Loquitur" ...and "Executive Spa"...

Their last show was in september last year..they having one next in mid-april...

anyone interested..lemme know..we can go laugh our hearts and lungs out together!!...

cheers people...and truly hats off to these two greats!!

P.S. : A little treat for you guys...xD
