The Matador...

The Euro 2008 Championships has just finished and The Olympics is next on the list. My oh my I must say on how amazed I was with the display of Spain's performance throughout the whole tournament, particularly performances by David Villa, Xavi Hernendes, Cesc Fabregas, David Silva, and ok lahh we shall include Fernando Torres (just because he scored the final goal).

I remember back in the days where so far only 3 football matches has captivated my mind on the existence of pure brilliance in the world of football as illustrated by the likes of Thierry Henry and Zinedine Zidane.

The three matches which I speak about which actually defines the proper meaning of football playing and skills at the highest level are :

1. The 1998 World Cup final between France and Brazil - which saw France lift the cup after extra time, really an amazing game in the finals.

2. The 2006 World Cup quarter-final match between France and Brazil - which saw France progress through to the semi-finals after the only goal of the match by Thierry Henry. What amazed me was how Zinedine Zidane outshone the likes of Kaka, Ronaldo, and Ronaldinho even when Ronaldinho was deemed to be the best player and at his peak at that time.

3. Again the 2006 World Cup, but this time the finals between Italy and France - which saw France fight with all might and heart to win the match but of course failed to do so after the infamous headbutt by Zinedine Zidane. I still think he's the greatest footballer I've ever seen in my life. Henry comes next lahh of course!!

I would comment that France had been really poor this time around at the Euro's and were outclassed by the style of play of Spain, Germany, and even Turkey. Me, being a France fan would really hope they can get something out of the next World Cup. And yess I am a little biased as Fabregas plays for Spain and that's why I chose Spain as my favourites as soon as France got kicked out of the tournament.

The passing, crossing, and style of play of Spain has really been exquisite this time around and i think Cesc Fabregas really has shown that he can emerge to be one of the best footballers in the game as time comes. But yes i agree Xavi deserved the "Player of the tournament" award, just magnificent I would say of him.

Hmmmmm. That's about it la. Guess I can't wait for the new EPL season to start to witness the new signings of Arsenal such as Samir Nasri, Carlos Vela, and Aaron Ramsay. And yes, we have a new number 14 in the squad, Theo Walcott. Well he proved his worth lahh after he did that amazing run against 5 Liverpool players during the Champions League quarter-final.

Damn it, I'm back to studying. And oh, someone owes me a Happy Meal??

Top Two

My dad used to say to me, "Son, always remember that you need two good friends in life. One a doctor, to take care of you whenever you have medical problems. And the other, a lawyer to take care of you whenever you have legal problems".

I never really understood that, until recently when I've discovered that we've got only two major problems in our life!! Medical and legal problems.

Everytime we're sick, we got some looking upon us. Everytime we're in trouble with anything or anyone, there's some there who has our back!! Maybe that's why I like the tv seriels of "Boston Legal" and "House M.D." so much!!

I have no idea why I'm writing this post but basically in an Indian family right, Indian parents always want their kids to grow up to be either a doctor or a lawyer or sometimes even both??

It's a fact lahh. And it makes perfect sense. That's why you find most of the lawyers are Indians and the brilliant ones are ONLY Indians? Well, thats my point of view and any of you who have other opinions are welcomed to share them with me.

However, Indians don't make good doctors, I wonder why. See, from what I've concluded, we Indians rather kill then save. We Indians hate each other whereas the other races just hate the other races. Oh wells, let me stress again it's my own opinion for others to dwell upon if they want to.

And that's why when we Indians migrate to other countries, we make better engineers and IT specialist. In the US for example, from what I've heard, half of the NASA employees are Indians. In the UK, most of the taxi drivers are Indians. In Malaysia, all the Indians flip 'roti canai's' around. In India, the Indians are well, just Indians??

Hmmm. Why can't Indians be good sportsmen? You never see an Indian doing hard sports. I think the closest Indians get to sports is, swimming?? And they only swim for leisure (in fact they hardly do swimming, all they do is check out babes in bikinis on the beach) and not as a competitive sport. Why can't Indians make decent films these days (of course they are exceptions to a few brilliant ones).

But what I can be proud of my race is that we came up with the Kamasutra. That's why we have the second largest population in the world. We also come up with decent clothes, music, good food, and we even make great gangsters (yes even better then the Italian mobsters. Why? Just imagine an Indian macha walking down the street with his comb-back hair, black singlet, black jacket, black boots, and black jeans. I mean they're already dark enough but they like to spice it up a little by just adding that additional black variant around them). We Indians have good humour, and yes a laughable accent to laugh at times.

Oh wells, Indians. Part of them, Proud of them.

Hahahahahaa, now when I look back at this post and reflect on what I've written, It's full of bullshit?? Hahahah, No, I think I've spewed out some good and practical stuff. I have no idea why I'm writing up a post on doctors and lawyers, Indians and how they've affected the world so far. But, I had to take a break off studying lahh for my finals.

I'm done. And oh, before I leave, another brilliant quote i heard the other day, I think it was from "House M.D." ??

"Religion is a symptom of irrational belief and groundless hope"

Awaiting...

These are the movies I MUST watch as soon as my exams are over. I've watched the trailers on YouTube. And damn, I must say the movies all look brilliant!!

The actors in the three movies have put in outstanding performances, or so what I've heard. The three movies I speak about are Wanted, Righteous Kill, and The Dark Knight.

Jolie and McAvoy...

Christian Bale...

Heath Ledger...

Exactly, why so serious!!

Well, hope my exams go well. Will I be back for another update on this blog?? I might. Just in case I don't, then I wish all my classmates all the best in taking on your law papers. And yes, I'm available after the 9th of July for movies, futsal, badminton, and just plain loitering around Malaysia!!

Cheers. And oh...

It lies beneath the basement of Malaysia!!

As the title suggests, I'm talking about oil which can largely be found in and around Malaysia. I'm sure you guys have recently experienced the new hike in the petrol prices in Malaysia. From RM1.92 to RM2.70. You got to be kidding me, seriously!! Here's what I think of it.

Why 'they' hiked the price?? :
1. To encourage Malaysians to start using public transport.
2. Our oil resources are coming to an end.
3. We are too snobbish to import oil from other countries.
4. Shifting the world towards a free-pollution world.
5. Hoping Malaysians would change their lifestyles now (cutting down on shopping).
6. Wanting Malaysians to appreciate our natural resources.
7. 'They' think less Malaysians will be using motor vehicles, therefore less accidents.
8. PUBLIC TRANSPORT.
9. PUBLIC TRANSPORT.
10. PUBLIC TRANSPORT, oh and of course to just KILL US.

What I think of the hike?? :
1. It's absolutely rubbish.
2. The public transport in Malaysia is just...(my next section).
3. We are a country which produces oil, why the sting.
4. Our general income capacity is not relatively high.
5. Malaysia is not tax-free(I wonder whose pockets the taxes go into).
6. Dubai produces their own oil and the whole city's duty free.
7. Our Ringgit's still not that strong in the market, so why the hike?
8. Just another excuse to fund 'their' pockets.
9. Our alternative resources have not been established as well yet.
10. The Malaysians who are in the lower-class cannot afford petrol now.

What I think of the public transport in Malaysia?? :
1. Unreliable.
2. Never on time.
3. Bitter conditions in the mode of transportation, and shitty conditions at the stops.
4. Half of the time they are on maintenance (mostly the trains la).
5. Only covers certain areas around Malaysia.
6. Malaysians are scared to use public transport, especially women.
7. Because of the lack of security (theft and abuse).
8. Can't capacitate all Malaysians, especially during rush-hours.
9. Some of them charge unreasonable charges (mostly taxi drivers).
10. All the drivers of public transportation are SO reckless (especially taxi and bus drivers).

What I propose 'they' should do now?? :
1. Reduce the petrol price to Rm2.15 per litre.
2. Increase their expenditure in oil-rigging.
3. Reduce road-taxes of motor vehicles.
4. Reduce general taxes on foreign vehicles.
5. Improve the public transport services.
6. Increase the wages of public servants.
7. Keep the electricity and rice prices at a reasonable level.
8. 'They' should stop wasting money on unnecessary things.
9. 'They' should consider abolishing govt. taxes and service taxes in restaurants.
10. Elect ME as the PRIME MINISTER of Malaysia.

Oh wait, hell no I want that post!! And notice how I refer a certain class or group of people as 'THEM' as I do not wish to be prosecuted for something I did not intend for. My friends, if you all agree with those pointers above, which means you do agree with me, please do not hesitate to donate to the DINESH (Dinesh In Need of Extensive Service by the Home minister) fund.

Cheers.

Oh, before I go, I stumbled upon a brilliant quote the other day on facebook. It said,...

"Women need a reason to cheat, Men just need a woman"

How freaking true is that man!!
