Every now and then, well mostly on thursday evenings, I usually pop in MPH bookstore at One Utama. The reason is because my sister's tuition is around the corner, and instead of me driving all the way back home, I decide to head to One Utama and spend some time there (yes, alone!!) and then pick my sis up after she's done with her tuition.
So anyways, I currently have this great interest in books (being a law student I'm suppose to love them) and have started flipping through a couple of them at bookstores all over the Klang Valley. Back to the main story. Like I said, I was in MPH, strolling around up and down (it's really huge; has 2 freaking floors) listening to my favourite tunes off my Walkman Phone while making up my mind to pick a book I would spend my next 1 hour and 45 mins reading.

I then stumbled upon Robin Sharma's "The Greatness Guide 2". It was on the 'New Releases' shelve. Robin Sharma's picture amused me at first (giggling half-way after noticing how bald he is) but then it clicked my mind that this is THAT 'Robin Sharma'. I've read many articles of him, every single one of them saying how brilliant he is at giving motivating speeches which inspire people's lives.

Background check. He's Indian-Canadian. Lives in Canada currently, I think. Has soooo many degrees, one particular degree that surprised me was LL.M. This guy did freaking Masters in Law. See, you don't have to be a lawyer just because you get enrolled in a LL.B course. Writing a book can take you far. I'm planning on releasing my very own original book called, "Indians-The Brown Ones".
Robin Sharma is what we call an 'Inspirational Guru' as his books advice on how to live, and be a better person not only for yourself but to the world as well. He has his own company-Sharma Industries, which run advising cum inspirational workshops for big big companies. And big means really big alright. Nike, Microsoft, and many more top companies have held many workshops with Robin Sharma, and we've seen how far these companies have gone.

Ohkaayyy. So yeah, this Robin Sharma guy is famous and rich (thats how I knew his name lahh because of his earlier book) because of his many creative books published. The one that really outdid all the other inspirational/business books and really really made him extremely famous was his "The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari". Haven't read it as yet, would love to get my hands on it. This book emerged as the Number 1 International Bestseller in the past year I think, and has got much praise.
Back to the "Greatness Guide Part 2". So I sat down in a quite place, read through every single page of that book, and truly was mesmerised with the 101 rules which would lead you to greatness. It's predecessor, "The Greatness Guide" also got acclaimed well after its release but I'm sure his latest hit would be even better.
One of his many quotes in his latest book which I really think is brilliant...
"Ideation without execution is mere delusion"
Brilliant ain't it. So you guys, if you people really have nothing to do on thursday evenings, you can just message me so that we can hang out at One Utama possibly flipping through books at MPH?? But really, its a really good book even for time-past and I recommend all of you to get it.
Oh wells, I'm done. Cheers.
