Elvis Presley, John Lennon, Michael Jackson. Greatest loss of the music industry. The former 2 may not have been my favourite, but MJ definitely is my number one. Woke up this morning and saw the news (possible drug-overdose leading to a heart-attack), and almost teared. A man I've always thought to be the greatest dancer, singer, and entertainer of all time was no more. Elvis and Lennon might not have appealed to everyone, but Jacko did, to all races and ages with just his style.
To me, Michael Jackson is one of a kind, and no one can even step close to his achievements. An amazing human-being; young, fragile, but in-genius. I still remember how MJ was the first artist I had listen to when I was around 8 years old. Still do remember those music videos of his they used to play on the TV station. He was simply outstanding.
Throughout the years, I've grown to become a huge Michael Jackson fan. Been following all his albums and songs. It's amazing when you come to think that it was his music that first introduced "black music" to the "white population" around the world. His songs have great beats, tunes, and meanings. He was the complete entertainer ; an exceptional songwriter, a dazzling dancer and performer, a perfectionist and a passionate singer.
750 million copies sold. His "Thriller" album is 40x Platinum. Has 13 Grammy awards. Now that's truly remarkable. Not only his songs, but his dance moves were sick. I've learned how to do the "moonwalk" (not easy by the way), but for one man to combine that with the other million moves he has, is unbelievable. Sickness, his dance moves are, pure sickness.
Bought the "Beatles" catalogue for 48 million dollars. Bought "Neverland" for 23 million dollars, and he's still rich. And he's been inspiration to artists like Justin Timberlake, John Legend, Akon, Will.I.Am, Chris Brown, Madonna, Rihanna, Ludacris, Usher, Ne-Yo, and so many more. His status in the world is absolutely impeccable.
Yes yes, some of you might be thinking of his bad side now. Well, he had a skin disease, so he had to go for operations (it's called 'vitiligo'). The molestation cases were pure bullshit. Everyone was just jealous of Jacko and thought of knicking some money off him. Stupid kids, listening to dumb parents (he was acquitted after all, wasn't he you idiots).
Was so looking forward to his concerts in London. Almost bought tickets too, but I guess that's impossible now. And I always thought I'd see that 'Moonwalk' just one more time. My heart goes out to you man, and your family.
I guess I'm off to continue drowning myself in MJ's songs. "ABC", "Rockin' Robin", "Don't Stop Till You Get Enough", "Thriller", "Beat It", "Wanna Be Startin' Something", "PYT", "Man In The Mirror", "The Girl Is Mine", "Earth Song", "Billie Jean", "Bad", "Smooth Criminal", "Black and White", "The Way You Make Me Feel", "You Are Not Alone". And the list goes on and on and on.

Gone at 50 ain't fair, but you will live in our hearts. Love you, MJ. After all, you are 'King of Pop' for a reason.
Cheers.
